He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Reese and Carly Wetzel (Tracey Skinner); his mother Marion Wetzel; his brother Steve Wetzel; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Skinner and Tina St. Angelo Wetzel.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of John may be made to Gilchrist Center Howard County, Immunotherapy Research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center or to the Radiation Oncology Proton Gift Fund, benefitting the Maryland Proton Treatment Center affiliated with the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
