She was predeceased by: her husband Steven Cord; and her son Daniel. She is survived by: her daughters, Emily and Louise; her children-in-law, Leigh Hellner, Vuong Duthinh and Philippe Guiot; and her grandchildren, David, Caroline, Julien, Aaron, Ethan, Anna and Shane. She is also survived by her extended family and many cherished friends.

Donations may be made in Edith's memory to HIAS, a Jewish refugee aid organization.
