The memory of Maria B. Salazar Gonzalez of Clarksburg, Maryland, who passed away on November 24, 2024 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angel M. Salazar and Maria Gonzalez Salazar; her siblings, Emeterio G (Tello) of Colombia and Eduvina G (Nina) of Colombia; and her son Alejandro.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Elena, Guillermo, Bella Alexandra, Liliana Angelica and Miguel Angel; her siblings, Aurora of Colombia, Absalon of Colombia and Lilia of Colombia; and her grandchildren, Ginna Paola, Andres Guillermo, Edward Alexander, Juan Esteban, Maria Alejandra, Juan Felipe, Juan Pablo, Diego Alejandro, Valdo and Juan Jose.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hilton Funeral Home (22111 Beallsville Rd, Barnesville, MD 20838). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH), where Maria's daughter works.
