We bid farewell to Alvin Shapero (Clarksburg, Maryland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Alvin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Shapero and Fannie Shapero of Blessed Memory; his wife Susan Winer; his children, Lisa Merkin (David), Paul Shapero and Stacie Shapero; his stepchild Hillary Israel (Jonathan); and his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Amanda, Jacob and Lexi.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Remembrance Memorial Park (14321 Comus Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871). A shiva was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM, on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 8:00 PM and on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM.
