Alvin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Shapero and Fannie Shapero of Blessed Memory; his wife Susan Winer; his children, Lisa Merkin (David), Paul Shapero and Stacie Shapero; his stepchild Hillary Israel (Jonathan); and his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Amanda, Jacob and Lexi.
