It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Marie Simmons of Churchton, Maryland, who passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Connie Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Connie Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Theodore Simmons, Jr. and Ruth Simmons (Howard); and her brother Martin Linn Simmons, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Mary Elizabeth Rupp Pearson of St. Mary's, Fred Tilghman Rupp (Kathie) of Lothian, Anne Marie Rupp of Pasadena, Michelle Denise Maringo of Chesapeake Beach, Kimberly Diane Little (Joe Terry) of Deale and Ruthie Christanna Marsters (Matt) of Owings; and her brothers, William Theodore "Ted" Simmons (Pat) of Churchton, Robert "Bobby" H. Simmons, Sr. (Gini) of Churchton and James "Jimmy" R. Simmons (Linda) of Grasonville. She is also survived by eleven Grandchildren, and several Great-grandchildren.
