Vivian Tribby Adle Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Tribby Adle of Chevy Chase, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Tribby and Elizabeth Tribby (Dement); and her husband Henry Ludwell Jones. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lucy Stone, Zack Stone, William Schlinger and Nora Schlinger; her daughters, Tammy Adle Stone (Stone) and Melissa Adle Schlinger (Schlinger); her stepdaughters, Starr Jones Maxwell and Mary Latane Jones Rossi; and also Tippy. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and several step grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Sibley Memorial Hospital or Capital Caring Hospice of Washington DC; or the charity of your choice.
