She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Yurek and Veronica Yurek; her husband Virgil Lee Montgomery; her son Robert; and her siblings, Mary Berna, Josephine Kutz, Rose Sczewski, Julia Yurek, Anna Nalepka, Lottie Sieroslawski, Eleanor Bierhals, John Yurek, Frank Yurek, Joseph Yurek and Edward Yurek.

She is survived by: her children, Sophie, Douglas Montgomery of Hedgesville, WV, Kathleen Montgomery of Westminster, MD and Teresa Kennedy (Michael) of Bethesda, MD; and her granddaughters, Kaitlin and Stephanie.
