It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Hall Kelly Smith (Chevy Chase, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 3, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Josephine Miles Slingluff and Mrs Robert Lee Hall; her brother Robert Lee Hall; her husband Clyde Vernon Kelly Jr; her grandson Clyde Vernon Kelly IV; her former husband Joseph Smith; and her children, Clyde Vernon Kelly III (Kathy), Josephine Slingluff Kelly and Susanne Kelly Dibert (Sam). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. "Baby Sis" will be remembered as a terrific mother, grandmother, and friend.
