He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Louis Hamilton and Patricia E. Payne; his wife Monica; his son John "Jay" Craig Hamilton, Jr.; and his brother Dr. Colin W. Hamilton. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
