He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Genevieve (Jean); his children, Jennifer Clare Wire (Rod), Paul Joseph (Darlene), Brian McMahon, James Perry (Tara) and Ellen Genevieve; his siblings, Joseph Connell, Charles Connell (late Beth) and Catherine Koch (Arne); and his parents, Dr. Joseph E. A. Connell and Ruth Bailey Connell. He was also cherished by four nephews and two nieces.
