Florence White Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence White of Chevy Chase, Maryland, born in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dempski and Mary Colapilo Dempski; her husband Dr. Albert Evans White; her sons, Joel Evans White and Samuel Albert White; and her brothers, Charles Dempski and Robert Dempski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Joy Scala of Charlottesville and Melanie Rose White of Chevy Chase; and her grandchildren, Thomas Scala (Jennifer), Joseph Scala (Erin), Ashley White, Alexander White and Rachael Sandford (Jeffrey Sandford). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, three nieces, and a nephew.
