Eileen M. Murtagh Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen M. Murtagh (Chevy Chase, Maryland), who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ben Meizler and Edith Meizler; her husband John E. Murtagh; her children, Edward (Vernelle), Bonnie (Robert), John (Jill) and Eric; her grandchildren, Sarah Katherine Murtagh Morales, Joshua Murtagh and J. D. Murtagh; her great grandchild Katy; her sister Shirley Spence (David) of Anaheim, CA; and her nieces and nephews, Marian, Gail and Nathan.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to support the Round House Theatre in Bethesda, Maryland which she greatly enjoyed and supported over the years.
