She is survived by: her husband David Shipler; her children, Jonathan Shipler, Laura Shipler Chico and Michael Shipler; her children-in-law, Glynis Shipler, Sweta Shah and Matthew Chico; and her grandchildren, Madison Shipler, Ethan Shipler, Benjamin Chico, Kalpana Shipler, Dylan Chico and Priya Shipler.
In lieu of flowers, Debby requested that donations be made to Search for Common Ground, which her son Michael helps to lead.
