He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Emmett Sr. and Hazel Stanley Thomas; his son Col. Stephen Frank Thomas; and his siblings, Owen, Clyde Jr., Harold, Joseph, Robert, Mary Lee Baysden and Betty Lou Parks.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Stroupe; his stepchildren, Robert, Reginald, Timothy and Martha Lee (Muffy); and his sisters, Sylvia May of Shenandoah, VA and Rebecca Lawson of Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
