With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Edward Gardenhour Sr. of Cheverly, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O. Gardenhour and LaFerne M. Otto Gardenhour. He is survived by: his wife Ann Crisp Gardenhour; his sons, Charles Gardenhour Jr. (Sandy) and Christopher Gardenhour (Kathy); his siblings, Richard Gardenhour and Jeanette McCullough; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Jonathan (Nina), Benjamin, Hannah, John (Meagan), Robert and James.
