He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley B. Sutton and Helen Shriley Sutton; his wife Ann Walls; his stepmother Edna Marie Hubbard Sutton; and his siblings-in-law, Fay Miller, Peggy Clark, Pat Walls, Bud Walls, Raymond Walls, Edward Walters and Tommy Clark.
He is survived by: his son William S. "Billy" Sutton Jr.; his daughter-in-law Patricia; his daughter Susan Sutton Nickerson; his son-in-law Phillip; his grandchildren, William S. Sutton III (Lacey), Jessica Strong (Ray), Tanner Nickerson and Baxter Nickerson; his great grandchildren, Drew, Bevyn, Braelynn, Bailey, Lucy, Reese, Rachel, Henry and Rhett; his sister-in-law Edwina Walls Walters; and his stepbrother Dr. Wilkins Hubbard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
