She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Clifton Starkey and Martha Sewell Starkey; her former husband Clarence M. "Newcie" Newcomb; her husband Julian Lee Crew; her son William M. Newcomb; and her brother Paul C. Starkey.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Newcomb Wright (Jim) of Chestertown; her daughter-in-law Katrina Newcomb of Hagerstown; her stepdaughter Julie Crew Athey (Ron) of Chestertown; her brother James Robert Starkey (Pat); and her grandchildren, Kristen Owen (Chris), Ashley Wright, Wroth Newcomb (Megan) and Lawson Newcomb (Lindsay). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
