It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelley Renee Thomas (Chestertown, Maryland), who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Richard Thomas, Sr.; and her daughter Kyteria Taylor. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Goldsborough of Chestertown; her son DeShawn Baxter of Chestertown; her siblings, Elise Black of Chestertown, Stephanie Smith of South Carolina, Anthony Black, Jr. (Catina) of Chestertown, Richard Thomas (Donetta) of Easton, Brandon Thomas of Chestertown and Anthony Smith of Georgia; her grandchildren, Dy'Ion Baxter, Adraya Heath and Josiah Baxter; and her godchildren, Shatekqwa Black, Rachel Bernard, Shykia Hackett and Anthony Black, III. She is also survived by her several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
