He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Demorest and Maude Fillingham Demorest. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Shaeffer Demorest; and his children, Diane Boyle of King George, VA, Mark Demorest of Chester, MD and Deborah Demorest of Hendersonville, NC. He is also survived by his three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
