With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Leo Buckel Jr. (Chestertown, Maryland), born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on August 21, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Leo Buckel, Sr. and Ethel Buckel (Shawley). He is survived by: his wife Sara Gray Buckel; his children, Lee Buckel (Julie), Jeffrey Buckel (Christine), Mark Buckel (Tamy) and Cathryn Nash (Seamus); his siblings, Judy Perkins and James Buckel; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Patrick, Alyssa, Sam, Andrew, Gray, Ella, Sara Cathryn and William. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to a charity of your choice.
