He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Peter and Marguerite Griffin Kunkel. He is survived by: his wife Elise Pesce; his daughters, Christine Elise Chisolm (Christopher) of Centreville, MD and Ellis Luisa Quinn (Megan) of Wyoming; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsie and Corban.
