He is survived by: his wife Betty Ervin; his sons, Roland Ervin, Kenneth Ervin of Chestertown, MD, Rodney Ervin, Norman Ervin of Chestertown and Lewis Ervin; and his siblings, Gerry Cooper of Chestertown, Debbie Conley of Centreville, Carolyn Chapman of Baltimore, Christine Brittingham of Church Hill, Nathanial Ervin of Wye Mills, Betty Lou Register and Henry Ervin of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
