With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavinia Brice Slagle (Chestertown, Maryland), who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Brice and Amanda Brice (Thomas); her husband Robert "Snookie" Slagle; and her son Bobby. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Murphy (Randy) and Debbie Welty (Earl); her sister Barbara Collins; her grandchildren, Kylie Shipp, Matthew Johnson (Ornella), Jennifer Baines (Chuck), Andrew Murphy (Joanna) and Teal Whitman (Robert); and her great grandchildren, Maxwell and Lucas.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home (130 Speer Rd, Chestertown, MD 21620). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
