With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Marie Merenda of Chestertown, Maryland, who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ramaley and Pauline Ramaley (Varvarics); and her siblings, Bill Ramaley and Martha "Mardi" Ramaley-Snyder. She is survived by: her children, Alison Betancourt of Atlanta, GA, Emily Battcock of Chestertown, MD, Sarah Merenda of New York, Noah Merenda of Wilmington, DE, Andrew Wagner of Asheville, NC and Mark Wagner of Chestertown, MD; her grandchildren, Phree Betancourt, Elijah Battcock and Sage Kahan; and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Ramaley, Bruce Ramaley, Ella Ramaley, Joyfa Joseph, Susie Ramaley and Jason Ramaley.
