She is survived by: her husband William F. Shiflett, Jr.; her son Russell Shiflett of Virginia Beach, VA; her goddaughter Patricia Bower (Norman) of Middletown; her grandson Kai Shiflett; and her sisters, Shirley Wallace of Middletown and Paula Veasey of Elkton, MD..
