She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Florence Threisa Kelly McGinnis; her children, Michael Lee Mench and Karen Ruth Shaffer; her siblings, John McGinnis and Jean Ross; and her brother-in-law Wendell Ross.
She is survived by: her significant other Frank; her grandchildren, Melanie Lee Walls (Louis, Jr.) and Mark "Alan" Hill, II (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Brandon, Kylie, Jeremy, Justin Walls, Aubree and Hannah Hill; and her sisters, Doris Robinson, Connie Smith (Ben), Phyllis Rice (Clarke) and Deloris Holmes (Bruce). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and long-time friends.
