It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana Lynn Hackett of Chestertown, Maryland, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald H. Carter and Alta Stowman; and her half-sister April Stafford. She is survived by: her children, Melissa "Missy" Lewis (Malone), Leo "Dusty" Hackett and Kyle Hackett (Stephy); her siblings, Debbie Allen, David Carter, Kenny Carter and Linda "Wink" Carter; her half-sister Robin Resche (Todd); her grandchildren, Adam, Ashley, Cierra, Savanna, Ahmad, Khalil, Yasmina, Nasir, Raina, Le'Asia, Leo Jr. and Ahyla; and her great grandchildren, Eli, Bella, Adam Jr., Ryan and Trophy.
