He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Brayton and John Brayton; his brothers, Thomas Brayton and Carl Brayton; and his nephew Terence Brayton.
He is survived by: his wife Robyn; his children, John Brayton (Samantha), Allison MacKinnon (Cyrus) and Douglas Brayton (Meghan); his siblings, John Brayton, Margaret Elliott and Kathleen Kurlander; his siblings-in-law, Carole Brayton and Joel Richard; his grandchildren, Faith Harrington, Isaac Harrington, Evelyn Harrington, Willamina Brayton, Sybil Brayton, Zane Brayton, Samuel Brayton, Eloisa Brayton, Marjorie Brayton and Benjamin MacKinnon; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Brayton (Simon), Corey Brayton (Roxanne), Charlie Elliott (Susan), Duane Brayton (Chris), Holly Stewart (Jimmie) and Elizabeth Israel (Joel).
