He was predeceased by: his father A. Howard West; his brother Mark; his sister-in-law Ruth; and his nephew Robert West. He is survived by: his mother Martha Jean Ellis West; his pets, Sierra and Bisquick; his sisters, Sharon (Ernie Dennison) and Diane Kent; his nieces, Rebekah West and Rachel (Pastor Timothy Davis) of Chestertown; his nephew Ernie Dennison, Jr.; his great-nephew Ernie James Dennison of Delmar, MD; his aunt Melba Lough; and his uncle Robert Ellis of Fairmont, WV. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
