He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Commodore, Sr. and Lillian Commodore (Bowyer); his grandmother Rebecca Tiller; his siblings, Arlene Morris, Annette Commodore, Diane Commodore, Ralene Smith, Terrance Commodore and Larry Commodore; and his siblings-in-law, Oliver, Tony, Henry and Bedelia Commodore.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Commodore of Aberdeen, MD; his son Austin Jones of Texas; his siblings, Victoria Commodore (Dorsey) of Bear, DE, Rachel Floyd (Alfred) of Chestertown, MD, Franklin Commodore, Jr. of Barclay, MD, Kevin Commodore (Edna) of Warner Roberts, GA and Gary Commodore of Stockley, DE; and his nieces, Latasha Harris and Latoya Harris. He is also survived by five brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home (130 Speer Rd, Chestertown, MD 21620). A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
