She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Suffridge and Georgia Nutting Suffridge. She is survived by: her husband Kent Merkle; her children, Melanie Merkle Sieber (Kurt) of Landenberg, PA and Phillip Merkle (Deborah) of Bethesda, MD; and her grandchildren, Gregory Sieber, Brooke Maxey (Garrett), Madeline Merkle and Brian Merkle.
