He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Carroll, Andrae and Ajani Pierce; his grandchildren, Latoria Johnson Hairston, Armondo, Jomaine and Jermiah Thomas Johnson; his grandson-in-law Michael Hairston; his sisters, Betty Knowlin of Chester and Jane Boyd of Manson; and his brother-in-law David Boyd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, dear friends.
