She was predeceased by: her father Walter Oberlander Fischer; her husband David Ervin Machen; her sons, Ronald, Michael and Douglas; and her brother Ronald Fischer.
She is survived by: her son Bob Parsons of Chester, MD; her grandsons, Brian of Pasadena, MD and Kevin Parsons of Pasadena, MD; and her sister Suzie Mechitti of Millersville, MD. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
