We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Mary Amelia Jones (Chester, Maryland), born in Stevensville, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ellsworth and Beulah Amelia Stallings Grimes; her husband William "Weldon" Jones; her daughter Amelia Johnson; and her siblings, Charles Grimes, Lewis Grimes, Dorothy Collins and George Grimes.
She is survived by: her children, Weldon "Buddy" Jones (Nancy) of Chester, MD, Carolyn Baxter of Chester, MD, Nancy Holbrook of Webster Springs, WV and Charles "Tubby" Jones (Wanda) of Cambridge, MD; her granddaughter Kathy Clark (Ben) of Stevensville, MD; and her siblings, Grace Nyberg of Salina, KS and Edward Grimes of Stevensville, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
The family wishes to thank Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville, MD for the wonderful care they provided and ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to their organization in her name.
