He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Chase and Eugenia Gagnon; his wife Iris; and his brother David Chase. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Farkass; his granddaughters, Sylvia Farkass and Naomi Farkass; and his sister Kay Reinert. He is also survived by three nephews, and one niece.
