He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Larry Lee Lynn; his grandparents, Chris, Betty Lynn, Robert and Mildred Barnhart; his aunt Mary Laubach; and his mother-in-law Mary Ann Justis.

He is survived by: his mother Barbara Barnhart Lynn Plaster (William Plaster) of Manassas, VA; his daughter Delaney Elizabeth Lynn; his wife Lori Lynn of Stevensville; his daughter Darcy Lynn of Stevensville; his sister Jennifer Burch (Brad) of Charleston, SC; his nephew Noah Burch of Virginia Beach, VA; his niece Julia Burch of Charleston, SC.; his father-in-law John Justis of Stevensville; his brother-in-law Michael Justis (Christine) of Towson; his nephew Weston Justis; and his niece Norah Justis.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newman Funeral Home (106 Shamrock Rd, Chester, MD 21619). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Church (830 Romancoke Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Broad Creek Cemetery (370 Romancoke Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Jacob Sloan Foundation.
