He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kennard Buckel and Marjorie Marie Gardner; and his sisters, Peggy Marie Buckel and Sheila Patricia Holden. He is survived by: his wife Ida Jean Buckel; his daughters, Carolyn (Lynne Gipe) and Teresa (Terri Schneider); his sister Dolores Cockey; and his grandchildren, Laura Schneider and Ryan Schneider (Lauren). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
