He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Colony and Violet Anderson Colony; and his siblings, Carolyn Gatchett (Robert "Bob" Gatchett), Charles "Chuck" Colony, Marjorie Colony, Lee Colony (Bonita "Bonnie" Colony) and Arthur Colony.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Colony; his sons, David Colony and Michael Colony; his grandchildren, Erik Colony (Carla Colony), Trevor Colony, Laina Colony, Megan Colony and Joseph Colony; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Colony and Sophia Colony.
