He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Russell Phebus and Stella Gast; and his wife Mary Irene "Renie" Steinacker. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Phebus (Pamela) of Trappe, Jeffrey Phebus (Virginia) of Centreville, Tim Phebus and Keith Phebus of Odenton; his grandchildren, Jessica Phebus of Albuquerque, NM, Christie Phebus of Baltimore and Nicholas Phebus of Trappe; his brothers, Bill Phebus (Chris) of Arnold and Jack Phebus (Gilda) of Pasadena; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth and Lee Whitsett of Berlin, MD. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
