He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Ruby Gardner Thomas; his wife Mildred Marie Thomas of Chester, MD.; and his siblings, Charles L. Thomas, William C. Thomas and Bette Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Thomas (Beth) of Stevensville and Barbi Hunter (Kelley) of Chester; his brother John R. Thomas (Bluey) of Grasonville; his grandchildren, Bryan Thomas (Christy) of North Carolina, Stephen Hunter and Keri Hunter of Chester; his great grandchildren, Adrienne and Makenzie; and his close friend Janet Shawn of Chester.
