He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Holmes and Hazel Holmes; his wife Patricia Holmes; his children, Deborah Yates, Jeanette Tribble and Christopher Holmes; and his stepchildren, Walter Barr, Aaron Barr and Betty Fulco. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
