He was predeceased by: his father James M. George; his brother Michael George; and his grandparents, Frank Johnson, Edna Johnson, John Owens, Nellie Owens, Lauretta and Robert George.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Johnson George; his wife Mary Harper George; his son Stephen "Stevie" B. George (Nicole); his granddaughter Tessa George; his siblings, Karen Shetzler (Robin) of Odessa, DE and James George, Jr. (Raelynn) of Dover, DE; and his cousin Timmy Barnes of North Carolina. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a savings fund for his granddaughter.
