She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ashley and Emma Holliday Ashley; her husband George Gardner; and her daughters, Patricia Lucas and Georgia Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Snyder (Ray) of Elkton, MD, William Gardner of Elkton, MD and Charles Gardner (Sharon) of Elkton, MD; and her son-in-law Kenneth Lucas of Chesapeake City, MD. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
