He was predeceased by: his parents, Thompson Archer Lyon and Mabel Patricia Lyon (Thorton); and his brother Tommy Lyon. He is survived by: his children, Derek Lyon (Heather Glock) of Rising Sun, MD and Devon Smith (Tory) of North East, MD; his siblings, Judy Diamore (Joe) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Michael Lyon of Elkton, MD and Jimmy Lyon of Florida; and his grandchildren, Kenadie Lyon, Dakota Sandow and Otis Smith.
