He is survived by: his wife Ellen Bloodsworth Irving of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; his children, Stephanie Irving Shaw (Stack Everett Shaw) and Steven Claude Irving (Chelsea Elizabeth Irving); his grandchildren, Shaelyn, Samuel, Saylor Shaw, Maverick and Anabelle Irving; his sister Marilynn Lamborne (Larry Lamborne); and his niece Christine Apthorp (Connor Apthorp).
