It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Barber (Chesapeake Beach, Maryland), born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orman Russell and Mary Jane Dieter Barkdoll. She is survived by: her husband Orville "Chester" Barber; her children, Chester O'Gorman (Sarah) of Minneapolis, MN, Jonathan Barber of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Ashley Barber-Strunk (Gretchen) of Clarksburg, MD; her siblings, William Barkdoll (Missy) of North Potomac, MD, David Barkdoll of Poolesville, MD and Debbie Bartlett (Chuck) of Rockville, MD; her sister-in-law Catherine Barber of Silver Spring, MD; and her grandchildren, Avery, Gracie Barber-Strunk, Alice and John Brown O'Gorman.
