It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Ann Cochran of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, born in Prince Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Estelle Paddy (Hall) and Samuel Owings IV; her husband Martin Thornton Cochran; and her siblings, Maurice LeRoy, Albert W., James J., Arthur W., Tommy E., Robert L. Paddy, Marian Lyons, Betty Clark, Dorothy Patterson, Margaret Phipps, Frances King, Edna Paddy and Emma Morgan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shellie Sue McCarroll of Chesapeake Beach, Pamela Ann Curtin (late James R. Curtin) of Chesapeake Beach and Sylvia Lynn Luckett (Christopher) of Huntingtown; her grandchildren, John Martin "Marty" McCarroll (Tammy) of Owings, Leanne Estelle Curtin of Malmo, Sweden of Huntingtown, Liam Hunter Luckett of Huntingtown and Samuel Nelson Luckett of Huntingtown; and her great grandchildren, John Lansdale Higgs and Amanda Marie Higgs Dobbin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Doris' name may be made to Calvert Hospice or North Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
