He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herman Moreland and Lila Mae Crandell Moreland. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his children, Linda Williamson, Connie Phair and George Moreland Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren and nine (9) great grandchildren along with many old and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request a memorial contribution to either Alzheimer's or Dementia research.
