He is survived by: his wife Regina Yvette Hughes; his sister Yvonne Smith; and his children, Arthur Shepard, Arthur, Jr. (LaWanda), Victor (LaShawn), Arturo Young, Barbara Britton, Julia Dixon, Kellye Drakeford and Rhonda Brown. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
