He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael MacKinnon and Anna McIsaac MacKinnon; his former wife Theresa McDonough; his wife Theresa "Terry" MacKinnon; his children, Mary Ellen Fields (George Fields), Anne Welsh (Tom Welsh), Jean Mitchell (late Ernie Mitchell), Patty MacKinnon, Carol Fletcher and Robert Mackinnon, Jr. (Marion Mackinnon); his grandchildren, Teddy Kish, Jesse Selke, Allison Ousborne, Jackie Selke, Heather Fields, Glen Fields, Gordon Fletcher, Julianne Selke, Andrew Fletcher, Matt Welsh and Liz Welsh; his great grandchildren, Sawyer Ousborne and Harper Selke; and his brothers, Ed MacKinnon (Barbara MacKinnon) and Peter MacKinnon (Barbara MacKinnon).
